Introduction to Islam

1. Islam is a religion which will guide you and help you to lead a successful life.It is a beautiful way of life.Islam is a faith that God is one and prophet muhammed(peace be upon him)is the messenger of Allah(Allah is the arabic name of God). 2.The followers of Islam are called as Muslims.The holy book of Muslims is called Quran.3.Muslims belief in angels,devil,jinns,prophets,books sent by Allah before Quran and life after death.4.Good deeds and bad deeds will be recorded by Angels,Good deeds lead us to Jannah and Bad deeds to hell.5.There are 5 pillars of Islam,they are shahadah,salah(Namaz),fasting(Roza),charity(zakat) and Hajj.                                               6.Quran is the guideline for Muslims,every Muslim has to follow what is written in it.Hadith is the sayings of prophet muhammed(peace be upon him)and what he did in his life and ordered us to do,which is called as sunnah.                                                                                                              ISLAM is much more than this it was just an introduction............May Allah guide us and increase us in knowledge.Aameen...
